In the fall of 2023, I acted as assistant director and co-dramaturg on Accidental Death of an Anarchist, the thesis of directing student Mirit Skeen.
This show and its unique challenges provided an opportunity to hone conflict-solving and mediation skills. I also gained experience as an in-room dramaturg for a research-dense political farce.

Because of the density of political content in the text and the learning style of the actors, my dramaturgical support took the form of a conversation with visual aids rather than an actors' packet. This enabled a more engaged and digestible approach that suited this particular group (and the director's wishes).
